Streets of Seminyak, a moment without a motorbike speeding past. by Mr JT
Seminyak is considered to be the more relaxing and luxurious area of Bali. Expect to find the hustle and bustle of Bali, serenity, beautiful boutiques, luxurious hotels, exceptional coffee and some of the best food you will ever eat.

Explore
Beach Clubs – day or night take your pick of one of the many beach clubs in Seminyak.
Shopping – homeware, clothes, leather goods, art, furniture – there is plenty to choose from in some beautiful stores. We recommend 2NDSKIN for tailored leather apparel – expect to wait 3 days for a leather jacket made to order. CARGA is filled with homewares and lovely gift ideas. Kody & Ko for candy coloured fluorescent fun and quirky art and homewares. Mahana for home linen and decorative pieces. For your next piece of art visit reservo-art and Nyaman Gallery for an eclectic range. For impressive carved wood furniture, go to Tata Kayu.

Eat
Revolver Espresso – coffee (hot or chilled) is so good, the food is great, and they have a killer soundtrack on play.
Sisterfields – to avoid queuing in line, make a beeline for this place in the morning. Be prepared to witness people standing on their chairs to photograph their food, but we suggest eating it as soon as it arrives to the table – because it tastes better than all the #’s you’ll see on IG. The coffee is perfection!
Warung Bunana – dirt cheap, delicious roti. A favourite for locals.
Chandi – really good modern Asian food.
Sarong – reserve a table here to sample some of the best food you will ever eat. We still talk about the pork belly and sashimi. Perfect date spot as the atmosphere is intimate.
Bambu – the service and ambience, in addition to the food makes this restaurant exceptional. The staff are some of the most attentive and responsive we’ve ever seen. The venue is lovely. When making a reservation request a table by the water.
Mama San – overhyped. Maybe because we had been spoiled at Sarong and Bambu, this place didn’t live up to it’s reputation. Reservations required.
